Definition of 'cofunction'

Cofunction
in British English
(ˌkəʊˈfʌŋkʃən )
noun
Cofunction
1.In trigonometry, a cofunction is a pair of trigonometric functions whose values are equal for complementary angles. Complementary Angles: Two angles are complementary if their sum is 90 degrees (or π/2 radians).

2.Cofunction identities can help simplify trigonometric expressions and solve equations. They also provide a way to relate different trigonometric functions to each other.

CoFunction Workspace is inspired by the mathematical concept of cofunctions, where pairs of trigonometric functions share complementary relationships that enhance each other. These functions work in harmony to create balance, and we bring that idea to life for creators: Designers, Producers, and Builders, whose strengths complement one another when they share a space. Built on Collaboration, Community, and Connection, CoFunction supports members with productive workspaces and multipurpose event spaces, while members bring the space to life by sharing expertise and growing together. Complementary strengths, balance, and shared momentum, just like cofunctions in mathematics.

OUR STORY

Eric Lee, the founder of CoFunction Workspaces, has founded and coached small businesses in the design and construction industry for more than 30 years. Along the way he saw how hard the early years are for solopreneurs and small teams: the long hours, the uneven cash flow and the isolation.

He built CoFunction to be the workspace he wished he had had. Today it is home to creators and independent businesses of every kind, with design and construction professionals still among them, and it offers a professional space, the right support and flexible pricing that lowers your business risk.
